The merinos blanket saved my life

A while ago I experienced a really dangerous adventure. I was driving all alone at night in the middle of nowhere, because I wanted to make it in time for my brother"s wedding. I had my gift for him and his wife packed in the trunk of my car and I was driving to get there in time. And right there, in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the night, my car broke down. It just happened and I had no idea, what was the problem. I called for help, but they said that they could be there in a couple of hours, because I was really far away. There was no house anywhere near and so I had to spend the night or at least a part of it in the car. It was very cold and I was afraid, that I would freeze, but then I realized, what my present for the couple was. It was a merinos blanket. It was a very warm blanket and it was also very expensive. At first I felt bad and I didn"t want to take it out and unpack it, but then I did it. It was getting so cold, that I couldn"t stand it anymore. I took out the merinos blanket and I covered myself in it. It was really warm and cozy and I don"t even know when I fell asleep. When the road help arrived, they woke me up and they laughed, they said that I didn"t even need them, they disturbed my sleep. I was late for the wedding and I had to buy a different gift.
